Technology
EcoRoc's roof tiles are manufactured using the proprietary Virdura™ multilayer composite material, setting a new benchmark for sustainable roofing. Virdura™ integrates advanced weather-resistant technology, engineered polymer bonding layers, and a renewable eco-friendly core, delivering exceptional durability, toughness, and thermal performance.
EcoRoc tiles offer wind resistance comparable to metal roofing, while maintaining outstanding toughness—capable of 180-degree bending and strong impact resistance, including ball-impact performance. Their lightweight design places lower structural demands on buildings, making them suitable for a wide range of residential applications.
Aesthetically, EcoRoc tiles closely replicate the premium appearance of traditional clay tiles, delivering a high-end look without the associated weight or fragility. With a design life of 30–50 years, EcoRoc roof tiles significantly outlast traditional asphalt shingles and approach the durability levels of metal and clay systems, while offering installation speeds comparable to asphalt shingles

Composite materials
Durable, affordable and recyclable
Over the past several decades, composite materials technology has evolved dramatically, driven by advancements in polymer science, processing methods, and sustainability initiatives. These innovations have enabled the creation of high-performance composite materials, Virdura™, that are not only durable and affordable, but also recyclable and environmentally friendly.
EcoRoc’s composite roof tiles made of Virdura™ are nearly 100% recyclable and are made with 60–70% plastic waste sourced from other industries.
Thoughtful Design
Functional and aesthetic
EcoRoc's roof tiles are engineered with a robust mechanical design that enables them to withstand extreme weather conditions, including the high wind speeds associated with hurricanes. This structural strength is achieved through carefully designed interlocking systems and secure fastening methods that enhance overall stability and resistance to uplift forces. At the same time, the tiles are designed for ease of installation, featuring lightweight construction and a user-friendly profile that reduces labor time and costs while ensuring a precise and reliable fit.
EcoRoc’s roof tiles not only replicate the timeless beauty of traditional clay and concrete tiles but also offer a wide variety of surface effects made possible through advanced finishing techniques. From elegant Mediterranean styles to sophisticated marble-like textures and beyond, the tiles can be tailored to achieve distinctive visual impressions. With customizable colors and textures, EcoRoc provides options ranging from natural earth tones to bold contemporary hues, ensuring harmony with any design palette. The surface finishes can be adjusted to different levels of reflectivity—whether a high-gloss look for a striking, modern appearance, a matte finish for understated elegance, or a balanced semi-matte surface for a versatile middle ground—allowing architects and homeowners to achieve exactly the aesthetic they envision.

EcoRoc's tile design incorporates dedicated ventilation features to improve airflow and reduce heat buildup. The space beneath each tile is intentionally engineered to create continuous airflow channels, allowing hot air to escape more efficiently. In addition, we include a specially designed structural accessory that promotes vertical and horizontal air circulation across the roof surface. This system can reduce underlying roof temperatures by up to 10°C, helping to improve indoor comfort, extend roof lifespan, and increase overall energy efficiency.
This unique ventilation design is an original innovation developed by EcoRoc.
